How we work together, in plain words: payment, changes, ownership and what happens after launch.
These terms apply when Nerwx (Limassol, Cyprus) builds or looks after a website for you. If we agree something different in writing for your project, that wins.
The demo is free and you don’t have to buy anything. Until you pay the deposit, the demo’s design and code belong to Nerwx, so please don’t copy it or have someone else build it.
You pay the price we agree in writing. No VAT is added. You pay 50% to start and 50% at launch, before the site goes live. The deposit is non-refundable, because it pays for work we start straight away. The domain is billed at cost.
Your plan includes a set number of rounds of changes. A round is one list of changes you send us together, which we then make. Changes within the agreed pages and design are included. New pages, new features or a completely new design are quoted separately.
You send us your texts, photos, logo, prices and menu, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You check that they’re correct before launch. If we’re waiting for your content, the launch date moves with it.
Once you’ve paid in full, your site is yours: its design, its content and its files. Nerwx keeps the rights to its own reusable code, tools and know-how, and you get a permanent licence to use them on your site. We may show your site in our portfolio, and the footer carries a small “Powered by Nerwx” credit unless we agree otherwise. Until you’ve paid in full, the work stays with Nerwx.
Your domain is registered in your name or your business’s name, so it’s always yours. We set it up and can manage it for you.
The Care plan is optional and monthly. It covers hosting, small text and photo updates, and keeping your site running. You can stop it any time, and it ends at the end of the month you’ve paid for. If you don’t take Care, we agree how your site is hosted before launch. If you leave, we give you your site’s files; if you want us to move it for you, we quote that.
To check your site is up and working well, we keep an anonymous count of its visits and of taps on its WhatsApp, phone and order links. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your visitors’ devices and records nothing that identifies anyone. We only use it to look after your site, and we can share the numbers with you any time.
The site goes live once the final payment arrives. If a Care payment is more than 30 days late, we’ll tell you first, and then we may pause the hosting until it’s paid.
Either of us can end a project before launch by telling the other. The deposit covers the work done up to then, and work that isn’t paid for stays with Nerwx.
We build every site with care and fix our own mistakes. We can’t promise particular search rankings, sales or bookings, or that services we don’t control (such as hosting providers, Google or WhatsApp) never go down. Our total liability for a project is limited to what you paid us for it, except where the law doesn’t allow a limit.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus deal with any dispute. If you’re a consumer, your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
